Idiom of the Day:
“Dragging your feet”
When you don’t want to
do something and put off doing it, we will say you are “dragging your feet.” It is like walking slowly while scraping your feet on the ground, or someone pulling you forward as you resist. If you want an example of this, ask your children to clean their room. I am sure they will “drag their feet!” 😂 “I haven’t been to the dentist for two years. I need to stop dragging my feet and make an appointment.”
