So today lets learn something about the German school system
.At first we start with the kindergarten. All kids between the ages 1-6 visit here. They learn how to walk, how to play with others kids and so on. Then they visit the primary school. Here they learn how to write, how to calculate. The basics. After that they go to a secondary school. Here it decide at the 7 grade if the kid is good or not.
If the child is not that good it goes to a “hauptschule” here are only the kids that dont have good grades. They have simplified task. They finished the school in the 9 grade. But they can only get jobs that are not that well paid. But the positive thing is that kids who have problems with learning dont need to stay that long in school. If you are better you go to a “realschule” here they stay until the 10 grade. They can get better paid jobs. If you are a really good student you go to a so called “gymnasium “ here the task are more difficult. They stay until class 12-13. Those are the only one that can go to a university. And get the best paid jobs. Like doctors or in the court.
