Hello. I have so many difficulties in verbs and phrasal verbs. Probably I’ll make so many mistakes.

Hi teacher, why I can’t say “much happy”? I usually say “very happy” But happy isn’t uncountable noun, too🤔

@Jojo "I didn't talk to anyone" is grammatically correct, but some native don't know that, or some people think it is cool to say things that are grammatically incorrect.

@Haruka "Much" goes with uncountable nouns. Example, "I don't have much money", the person has a little bit of money, but they don't know the amount. "Happy" is an adjective, not a noun (happiness is a noun), so it needs an adverb. "Very" is an adverb like "extremely". So the sentence could be "I'd be very happy" or "I'd be extremely happy". Does this make sense?

@amber Oh, thank you. I didn’t know that. I knew about happy be an adjetive but not the necessity to use an adverb.

@Gabriel you do not need to always use adverbs, because you can say "I'd be happy" and that is grammatically correct. But if you want to make the emotion stronger (the emotion is happy), you would add an adverb. Does this make sense?
