I’ve had a lot of people tell me they want to move to Canada

, so as a Canadian I thought I’d give some free advice about it. First off I recommend NOT moving to Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. They are all currently facing severe housing issues due to the huge influx of people and their prices are all inflated as well. Better cities to move to are Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina or Winnipeg. The second thing is Canada is trying to increase the population of its northern areas, so there are often incentives for moving to Canada’s territories. Whitehorse and Yellowknife are the two main cities in the territories. Sorry for the long post haha. Message me if you have more questions 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I heard that in the North people speak French as a first language and English as second one. While in the South people learned French as a second language but they never used it. Is it true?

I mate! 👋🏻👋🏻 it’s an interesting post considering that almost the whole world is in a global economic crisis. I’m a bit intrigued by the reason behind the need to increase the population because the big trouble today is the population precisely 🤷🏻‍♂️😅 Anyway a big hug from Chile! We share a very common geography :)

Pero los lugares que recomiendas cómo es el clima ? Es más frío que los lugares que tienen problemas de vivienda verdad?

@Erika well since I was born in Canada I’m not too familiar with what courses are offered for foreigners. I’d recommend looking up the universities in Edmonton and looking at their websites

@Pancho ಠ_ಠ well Canada is the second largest country on earth, but we only have around 37 million people and out of that population most live in south eastern Canada. If Canada wants to properly utilize its resources it needs a much larger population as well as the fact that we can’t at this time properly defend our claims in the North. An example of how drastic the population difference is is the USA who have around 300 million people and are more evenly spaced in their territory.

@Harry Burkholder 20% of Canadians speak French and I think 70% of those live only in Quebec.

I think that the big problem about it is the cold climate in the North 🙁
