Yesterday was

a holiday in America, so I went to my dad’s place with my son and we had a barbecue with my family.

息子はあまり会えない従姉妹とよく遊んでたので、帰り道に車の中に寝ちゃった
My son played a lot with cousins that he can’t meet very often, so while returning home he fell asleep in the car.

私達のところに帰ったの後に、寝てる息子を抱っこして、ベッドに置いた
After returning to our place, I carried him to bed while he was sleeping
