Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Ineligible (adj.)
Meaning: Unable to
do sth/do not meet the requirements Example (1): “For a while the Chinese border was completely closed to foreigners but now I’m no longer ineligible and can apply for a new visa to return. So I might be back in Beijing for September or October.”
Example (2): “I, like, applied for a super good uni but they said I was ineligible for the course. Sth like my grades aren’t good enough! I was, like, are you kidding me?! I’m totally smart and super good at stuff but hey, it’s their loss. So stupid. I deserve, like, so much better.”
See ya!
