English dialogue and expressions : online dating
Jen: Hey,
so what's new with you these days? Tina: Oh, not much. But I did start doing online dating.
Jen: Nice! How's that going?
Tina: It's like finding a needle in a haystack. I mean, they don't have to look like movie stars but I'm so tired of guys with facial hair—shaggy beards and bushy eyebrows. Gross.
Jen: So what are you looking for?
Tina: Nothing complicated. Someone with an athletic build, outgoing personality, and a good sense of humour. Shouldn't be too difficult, right?
