Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Sabbatical
Meaning: A period of time
away from work/an extended break away Example (1): “Prior to this pandemic I wanted to take a year long sabbatical in South America to travel the continent and learn Spanish. However, these plans have now been delayed for a few years. Maybe in 2023 I’ll do it.”
Example (2): “I’m so burnt out from work, I really need a vacay. Or maybe even a long sabbatical. You know what I mean? Lie on the beach, sip on a cocktail, cute guys everywhere. That’s what I need!”
See ya!
