English Expression
>Around the clock
We use this expression
to say that something has been going on all day, or will take 24 hours or more to do. It's common when you're talking about being busy at work. Example:
“Will everything be ready for Friday?
I think so. We're working around the clock!”
“You look busy.
You're right. I need to work round the clock to finish all this!”
