I have been escaping the reality of life by playing video games
through my younger years. It was as affective as drugs in relation to escaping the hardships of life. However as I approached my middle and late 20s I have realised that all these hours wasted on video games could've been used to improve myself and develop skills to become more successful. Yesterday, I have made one step towards success by stopping video games altogether and I sold my Nintendo switch. People say that playing in moderation is healthy but I'd rather find other activities such as Netflix to relax my mind or even art or music. Video game addiction is a big problem. Hopefully I will never return to it again. It's time to get serious!
