    我感觉，学汉语，应该从学汉字开始。汉语拼音，就像音标，一看就会了，单学意义不大。

    @St_Sh 你先学写几个汉字，然后观察它们，你会有成就感，感觉它们好奇妙，并爱上它们！然后你会更有信心学下去。只看汉语拼音，不会产生这种成就感。

    @duzimopinglan I'm agree with ,Chinese is different from other languages all over the world, you'd better start it from the Chinese characters, which is similar to the true things you can find. I do reckon that learning Chinese is more learning Chinese culture than mastering a tool of communication.

    And for Chinese is hieroglyphic，you can guess its meaning by the shape of the characters. To give some example,if you see these character with 纟,which looks like a winding rope，the meaning is mostly attached to rope or things like rope.Or another example 氵，which look like three water drops, it mostly attach to water,and if there has two water drop " 冰 "" 冷 "" 凉 "these attach to cold, because low temperature makes the one water drop become ice and only two left.And for " 热 "" 煮 " " 煎 ",you can find they have four dots,which can understand in the same way.

    Though all characters can't be explain in the same way, but I hope the example I gived can help you learning Chinese easier and joyful.

    @Tristan I honestly did not know these characters. I had learnt a few simple radicals of same shapes like 个人从 and the rest. But thank you for that elaborate information. I guess I need to work on learning about the core meaning of each character ms first.
