ひがみじかくなってきましたが、まだまだひざしはつよいです。- The sun is still strong, although

the days are getting shorter. ☀️

Today was a beautiful Sunday and a great time to be outside. The snow that fell earlier in the week has all disappeared in the lower elevations, but up in the high country the peaks are still white. I did a rather short hike up a mountain nearby towering at 3560 meters. The last time I attempted this I was turned back by hail and rain. Very different experience today! I cherish the mountains like this, partially covered in white. The summer temperatures have returned, so there should be time for a few more hikes up high. Hopefully with more fall colors as well...
