Today’s topic is the “Colorado Mountain

Pie!”

The Colorado Mountain Pie is a style of pizza special to the state of Colorado and Rocky Mountain region of the US. These pizzas come with a ludicrous amount of toppings; customers can build their own pizza using up to 50 different toppings! The mountain pie crust is also thicker than other pizzas, and is uniquely made with honey and braided on the outside. The braid holds the toppings from spilling, and locals tend to dunk the pizza in honey at the end of their meal! Mountain pies are fired in a gas-powered oven for about ten minutes, and are sold by the pound instead of by the slice. The largest pie is 14 pounds and costs $75, but is free if you (and your friends) can finish it!
