Meaning: Exceed, go higher
than/beyond sth Example (1): “If Bitcoin ever surpasses a value of $500,000, I’ll be an extremely happy man.”
Example (2): “I went to eat Beijing duck, at a super duper restaurant called Dadong last night with three of my favorite boyfriends. And oh my goodness me, it was freakin delish! It totally surpassed my expectations as I had never eaten duck before. Yummy, yummy in my tummy!”
