    I do recommend u watch “confidence man jp”. Originally it’s made as a drama but they also made two episodes for movies

    Thank you for your comment!I'm sorry I don't know about stable classic Japanese cinema. Modern Japanese cinema is recently?If so,Kimetsu no yaiba,Mononokehime,Rurounikenshi(a live-action film) are my recommendations.My friend recommendation are Umizaru,kimi no na ha. I hope this comment is your help.

    @Sasha M "Grave of the Fireflies" is another must-see Japanese film... its a tough watch, though... very grim subject matter... nevertheless, I highly recommended it...

    I found this post, so I leave this recommendation, maybe ‘Kakushi Toride no Sanakunin’ and ‘Hurinkazan’ is better to watch, these show is hailed as a famous historical show, so definitely better to watch
