🇬🇧🇬🇧 English Vocabulary Time!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧
stir-crazy (adjective)
"I've been stuck at home for nearly 100 days now... I'm beginning to go stir-crazy".
"Stir-crazy" can be used when you want to express upset, anger or restlessness because of confinement or if one has been prevented from going somewhere or doing something for a long time.
"I've been in this bed with a broken leg for 6 weeks now and I'm literally going stir-crazy!"
"how have you not gone stir-crazy yet? you literally never leave your room!"
Now it's your turn! Try using "(to be/to go) stir crazy " and I'll correct all your mistakes! :)
