Earlier I posted pictures of the Glimmingehus Castle in Scania
, Southern Sweden. Here are some pictures of the interior!Picture 1: The outside of the castle!
picture 2: The oven in the basement. back in the 1500s this room was a large kitchen, which also served as central heating.
picture 3: a meeting room on the 2nd floor. It featured a large stone table, but in the 1500s there were probably several tables of wood as well.
Picture 4-5: This is a large room on the 3rd floor. It used to be several rooms, but they were still very large. It used to be offices and dining rooms for the Lords who lived here! The main office was around the fireplace!
Picture 6: This room is a bit of a mystery, but it's believed to either be the room of the lady of the castle, the Lord's wife or the chapel of the castle. The guide was wearing 1500s-clothes!
Picture 7: This is one of the windows of the top floor on the 4th floor. This is were soldiers kept guard!
I do have more photos on statues and some more stuff, if anyone is interested!
