Tips and Tricks for learning faster #2
Conversations
I recommend
when speaking with a native to try to speak as much as possible in your target language but to also, have a separate device open with google translate, and a separate file open (google docs or microsoft word) to write down the words and phrases you do not know. Whenever you dont know how to say a word in English, write down that word in Microsoft Word (in your native language) and find out how to say that word or phrase, after. Once you find out what that word/phrase means, use it in the next few conversations so you don't forget it.
But Tito!!! I can just use google translate to translate everything while Im talki…… NO!!!
If you do that you are literally wasting your time . Use google translate once the conversation is done or, if you literally need to know one word. If you constantly use it to write sentences while you are speaking to a native, I guarantee you, you won't learn as much, compared to using it ONLY as a reference.
Download the HelloTalk app to join the conversation.
