[2020] TUESDAY, January 14th

I don’t have a photo to share
but a lot happened today that I wanted to update y’all on! First update is my college class! It starts in two weeks and my orientation this weekend was confirmed to be moved to an earlier time so I could attend my volleyball game! I’ll get my ID over the week and hopefully get my textbook for the class. My Saturday is going to be soo stressful though lol...
Second update is that I joined a fundraising club for school. It’s called Operation Smiles and it’s a nonprofit that raises money for children around the world to get surgeries to operate on their cleft lips. It meets every other week which I’m thankful for due to my busy schedule.
I’ve gotten a lot of assumptions based on foreign holidays. Most students in the USA already had their winter holiday! “Christmas vacation” isn’t just for Christmas, it is our winter break.😂 I have regents week in my state which is for standardized testing. Only my school doesn’t take these tests. We do something slightly different for our finals/midterms. They’re called exhibitions! 25 page papers with a presentation for each class. This is for my graduation. Students who fail even one exhibition (or state test) cannot graduate high school! Soooo scary and stressful... I actually haven’t finished mine yet and had to get an extension to present in March. And we don’t get a break after this.😂 It’s just right back to classes after that!
As usual, ask away~
