Ryan’s Phrase Of The Day: Flip Out (verb)
Meaning: Worry, get
angry or lose their cool Example (1): “Now that the virus has spread to Europe many people are flipping out and buying in bulk at the supermarkets. Sanitizer, tinned food, toilet roll and other basic necessities are in short supply.”
Example (2): “If a celebrity or famous person flips out everyone judges and criticises them yet we all do the same thing sometimes, only it’s in private or small groups. Depending on what they’ve done I think they deserve more understanding and less judgment.”
