Today I want to introduce

you to foods from Louisiana! Louisiana has a unique history. It is home to 7 different Native American tribes, was colonised by France and then sold to Spain, and during the slave trade workers of West African, Caribbean, and Romani descent were brought to the state.

Because of this the foods in Louisiana are very different from other American foods and use ingredients from all over the world! Popular foods from Louisiana include gumbo, jambalaya, po boys, crawfish boil, muffulettas, and beignets.

If you are a fan of Disney I highly recommend visiting the resturant “Dooky Chase’s” in New Orleans. The owner of this resturant was the inspiration for Princess Tiana from the Princess and The Frog movie!
