うが好きだけど、このパンケーキは良いでした。祭りでたくさん料理の店があるから、もっと食べました。

I didn't know that there was a Japanese Festival today. I wanted to eat souffle pancake so I went to the city to eat that. I prefer the Japanese made pancake, but this was still good. There were many food stalls at the festival, so I ate more.

I'm not sure if the word 都市 is suitable here. Please correct me if it's wrong.

    so, I ate more. の意味するところは、 「ほかにもいろいろなものを食べました。」 しぜんな言い方かなあ、と思います。( ◠‿◠ ) すごく美味しそうなものがいっぱいあったんですね！

    「街」がいいかと思います。 スフレパンケーキ、ものすごくおいしそうです！

    As some commented on it, I think 街 is better in this context. You can translate city into 都市 as well, but it sounds formal. When we go to a city, we say "街に出かける." I'll try to give you examples; I went out to a city with my friends. → 友達と街にでかけた。 It's very convenient to live in a big city. → 大都市に住むのは便利だ。 Hope it helps!😉

    @Anny 街:busy road lined with shops and buildings.Otherwise "町". にぎやかな繁華街に出かけるときは「街に出る」と使うとイメージが伝わると思います。

    @Megumi 𓅫 Thank you for showing me the alternatives to make it sound more natural. I understand 町, 街, and 都市 much better now. I'll try to use 屋台 in my future post so I don't forget. Thanks for teaching me this word.
