I’m trying to decide if I want to buy the Nintendo switch . Does

anyone have it and recommend it?
I'm a huge fan of Mario, Fire Emblem and the Pokemon games.

Just buy it, you won’t go wrong. And make sure that you want playing games at home or be mobile. There’re two versions of it.

The most advantage of Switch is about the softwares for it. Comparing to PS4 whose softwares port to PC, The softwares for Switch is actually exclusive. I recommend that you get it if you’re interested in Mario and FE. There’s no choice but having Switch to play them.
