It wouldn’t be Christmas without presents, no matter how big or small, the important thing is you can show how much you care for someone with a gift from the heart.

Gift giving has been part of similar pagan traditions for thousands of years, later being incorporated into the Christian story of the three wise men bringing gifts for Jesus on the day of his birth. (picture 2)

Another well loved tradition is the Christmas stocking...large colourful socks hanging over a fireplace used to hold small gifts called “Stocking Fillers”, such as sweets, chocolates, coins and even fruit. (Picture 3)
