I did another Christmas Bird Count today. I went with my mom

and dad and my brother. The places we ended up included a landfill, a park with a small soccer field, many ponds and fields, and a river. Pennsylvania, USA

    @Emily We has an assigned area to cover. We count how many of each kind of wild bird we find.

    @Emily This isn’t for my job. This is a volunteer activity that is done this time of year every year. It is a single-day census of all the birds in an area.
