最近このアップリを全然使いませんでした。それについていくつかの理由があります。
Recently I haven’t used

this app at all. There are several reasons for this.

実は今東京じゃなくてオタワ、カナダから書いています。一周間前にカナダに帰国しましたから。
Actually,right now I am not writing from Tokyo, but from Ottawa, Canada. I returned to my home country just one week ago.

5年間一度もカナダに帰らずに東京にずっと住んでいただけに、カナダにやっと帰ったことは不思議な気持ちです。
As I had lived in Tokyo five years without returning once to Canada, it is a strange feeling finally coming back here.

皆さんに言う通りに「reverse culture shock」と言うことは本当なことです。もう日本の生活は慣れすぎて、カナダの文化はちょっと変になちゃいました。
As everyone says, the thing called ”reverse culture shock” is very true. I had become so accustomed to life in Japan that Canadian culture has become a little strange to me.

例えば、周りの人々から自分の言語を聴こえることとか、昨日道で散歩している時、シャッツを脱いでままの男の人を見かけてショックに受けたこととか。
For example, hearing my own language spoken around me. Also, when I took a walk yesterday and saw a man casually walk by without a shirt on, it gave me quite the shock!

とにかく、またカナダの生活を慣れるまで時間がかかりそうです。この間、日本語と日本のことを忘れないように、このアップリを使ったらいいなと思って、出来るだけ使おうと思います。
In any case, it seems like it will take some time until I become used to Canada again. In the meantime, I will try to use this app as much as I can so that I don’t forget Japanese and Japanese culture!!!
