Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Sabbatical (noun)
Meaning: A break
(mid to long term) *when from work it is sometimes paid, often not* Example (1): “After a busy and fun filled trip to Shanghai I wasn’t able to find the time to post here for the past few days. It wasn’t a sabbatical but it felt like one!”
Example (2): “Work is tiring a girl out! Do you know what I mean?! Last week I worked a total of 10 hours, that’s too friggin’ much! Like, it’s totally time for a sabbatical. I wanna go to the Caribbean, shake my booty on the dance floor and work on my suntan.”
