I was recently asked to do a post for

the word “reprise” I believe this word may technically be pronounced “repreeze” however I have typically heard it pronounced reprise. Reprise means a repetition or further performance of something.

For example:
Johnny Depo did so well in the first movie he was asked to reprise his role as the famous captain Jack Sparrow in the movies Pirates if the Caribbean
