Today, my friends and family threw a surprise party for me, to

celebrate my recent songwriting award.

It was a great reminder to me, that not only have I come a long way in my career, but my success can truly be measured by the people in my life.

I was reminded, that in spite of my hard, and sometimes painful past, and the bumpy road I have walked, mistakes and bad decisions I have made, I am a good, successful, and worthy person.

No matter what is in your past, what mistakes you have made, it’s never too late to go forward, forgive, be good and do better!
