I may be biased, as an American & a lifelong fan of Mark Twain. He was my favorite author growing up, and I look forward to rereading his stories after all these years!

@جُمان We reference their works in our daily language, although not everyone realizes it. If you read their works, you will learn a massive amount of English culture and start noticing references to and from them in conversation.

@ it’s for the cultural relevance, not the linguistic usage. I do make the presumption the learner has the intelligence to know when they’re studying important literature and when they’re actively progressing their target language.
