Hey everyone,
I’m going to share with you a Canadian national
hero —-> Terry Fox
Terry Fox was a Canadian athlete who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had his right leg amputated in 1977.
Afterwards, Terry began the Marathon of Hope to bring awareness and support cancer research by running across Canada with an artificial leg.
Terry had passed away from Cancer in 1981, but his legacy lives on, with marathons that still happen around the world to support cancer research.
Hundreds of millions have been raised in Terry’s Name.
Terry Fox has been a source of personal inspiration for me with his perseverance.
