A phrasal verb is a verb made of more than one word and usually

it does not make literal sense. These verbs make perfect sense to English native speakers and are used often, but can be confounding to English learners.

Here are some that include animals plus examples:

* PIG OUT means to eat a lot of food at once.
EX: I totally pigged out at lunch today because I was so hungry!

* FISH FOR means to try to get information in an indirect way.
EX: She was fishing for a compliment when she asked us if we liked her new haircut.

* WOLF DOWN means to eat very fast.
EX: I only had five minutes before class, so I had to wolf down my dinner to arrive on time.

* HORSE AROUND means to play in a rough or physical way.
EX: Stop horsing around in the house or you will break something!
