My job is difficult to explain in Japanese. I manage a parenting support service. For example, we run playgroups which are programs where parents and children come to play together; we support parents with parenting concerns; we run parenting courses and we also have a kindergarten. We have staff such as child health nurses, psychologists, and social workers working together. I am not sure if Japanese people can understand what my work is, as there are no services like it in Japan.
