It has been snowing since yesterday and today I just went out to clear a path to the mailbox and take a few pictures.

This is much needed snow after a dry winter. It will soak up the ground and provide life in the coming months. These storms are common in March and April and sometimes it snows even in May.

It is not over yet, but we are still a long way from breaking any records. There was quite a bit of wind earlier today and so in some spots the drifts have piled up high.

The power fluctuated for a moment, but so far it's still on. There could be an outage though if this keeps going for much longer. I am prepared with water and flashlights just in case.

Tomorrow the sun is supposed to come out, so I plan on taking a walk just a bit around the neighborhood and take some photos.
