This is the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Savannah
, Georgia.Opened in 1873 in French gothic architecture. The stations of the cross are hand carved and the pillars are marble. The Austrian stained glass and Persian rugs are breathtaking. This is the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Georgia. They have weekly Latin Masses.
It had been closed for covid-19 but I was able to take some photos today after they reopened with a docent.
