外国人と一緒に付き合ったことのある方々に質問です🤔コミュニケーションはどうされていますか？1つの言語に偏ることが多いです

か？それとも、平等に両言語を使っていますか？
最近、旦那🇯🇵の英語が急に上達し、慣用語やスラングなどで話し方が大分自然になってきました。
とてもいいことですけど、言語レベルの差で少しストレスを抱えています。私🇬🇧が日本語で会話しようとしても、英語で答えられることが多く、彼的には英語にてのコミュニケーションの方が楽となってしまった印象です。
両言語を平等に使えるバイリンガルカップルに目指したいのですが、勉強を続くしかないと思いますが、、アドバイスありましたら是非😣

If you've ever had a foreign partner, how did you communicate? Did you find yourselves using one language more than the other, or were you pretty equal with both languages?

Recently my husband's English has got much more natural, mainly through the use of slang and colloquialisms. It's great, but I've been finding myself getting a little upset over the difference in our language abilities.

Even if I speak to him in Japanese, he often replies in English, and I honeslty feel that communication in English has become the easier option for him when we communicate.

I want to aim to become a bilingual couple, so there's nothing I can really do but keep studying. if you have any advice though, I'd love to hear it.
