😴 1. Hit the hay- to go to sleep
Example: “Do you want to watch a movie?” “No, I’m going to hit the hay. Good night!”
2, Turn in- to go to sleep
Example: “Do you want to watch a movie?” “No, I’m going to turn in. Good night!”
3. Beat- to be tired/sleepy
Example: “Do you want to watch a movie?” “No, I’m beat. Good night!”
4. Slump- to be asleep. (Often used to tease someone who has fallen asleep)
Example: “Do you want to watch a movie?”
“No, you would catch me slump. Good night!”
