I saw an interesting article recently that said that we should
not use creativity when learning a language. We should not learn the grammar rules and try to create the language ourselves. We need to have a lot of exposure to the language and learn the way that native speakers use the language. For any situation there is a limited number of phrases that native speakers would use. There are many others that may be grammatically correct but sound strange. Therefore it is important that we do a lot of listening and reading of content made by native speakers for native speakers to get a true feel for the language the way it is actually spoken.![](/moment-web/static/img/icon_moments_likes.png)
