I'm so worried for my Japanese friends especially those living

in Tokyo/Chiba regions.😟

Thank you to those who sent me pics, vids, voice messages, or simply plain texts just to let me know that most of you guys are doing fine despite this super typhoon.🌀

Typhoon Hagibis was dramatically described as the "MOST POWERFUL STORM IN THE WORLD" by NOAA in the US. It can be the most powerful in decades with damaging winds and torrential rains that could flood Tokyo, with the heaviest rain in 60 years. Hagibis was classified as a Category 5 hurricane.

HAGIBIS in Filipino language means "speed" "velocity" or "rapidity". In a way, I felt somehow relieved that it stir-clear of the Philippines, sparing my country from potentially heavy rains. It would be catastrophic if it made landfall in PH, since most Filipinos are living in stilt houses and makeshift dwellings made of light materials. Not to mention that Philippines is far from ready compared to Japan, in terms of disaster preparedness and management.

But I feel so bad that Japan had to go through this ordeal. I truly hope that it will end soon and that everyone will be safe, with minimal damages to properties.

I am praying for and with you, Japan! 🇯🇵🙏🏼

Please keep me updated of how it is in your areas.

Please always be safe. Keep safe and stay safe!😥

P.S.
Stay away from glass windows.
Charge your phones, powerbanks, emergency lights, etc.
Fill your bath tubs with water just in case.
If you have whistles with you, wear it or keep it in your pockets.
Always have emergency plans with your families.
Put your important documents inside plastic bags to be sure.
