Tip for students of English:
"Game of Thrones" is a “series”

, not a “serie”. We say "series" even when referring to one. It's always "series".

So, the following are both correct:
(1) "What *is* your favorite series?"
(2) "What *are* your favorite series?"

"What is your favorite serie?" is never correct.
