I have lived in the US for 3months and in Korea for 9months to study languages. I usually don’t feel lonely, but most of my friends wanted to go back home because of loneliness😅 I just missed Japanese food stuffs and bathtub🛁 haha

I've experience for Japan as working holiday. So I know how hard is it that living abroad. But that experience will make you be much stronger. I wanna more experience of abroad, I'm learning English. I have plan and I will go to America next year and working.

@Hana Why is it that you didn’t feel lonely but your friends did? What’s your secret? That’s one of my biggest fears :)

I used to like foreign cultures so I addicted to new cultures, and enjoyed it at the same time😊 But my friends were not good at that. Also I had some local friends and enjoyed hanging out with them👍🏻

Lived in Australia for four years and currently living in Canada over a couple of months. There are so many big differences between any countries even if they are same as English countries. The most important thing is that you have to love the country before you decide to go to somewhere. The thing makes u happy and feel positive about anything.

@Lily 릴리 i lived in japan for 9 years and overall my experience is positive. i tell you the negative experience just to give different perspective. i didn't like the general attitude of japanese people. against what everyone says i am of opinion that they are not really helpful. talk sweet but helpful not. my wife warned me that these are not the people to be nice to. After 5 years of experience i finally said she was right. i found that old generation of japanese to be much much better and helpful.

I'm living in Toronto now, and I don't wanna go back to Korea. I need more experiences living abroad and wanna improve my English more. But 1 year is very short to achieve those. I love living in Toronto. A first thing what I feel impressed is when I passed a door on the subway or wherever they always wait for me and hold the door to pass. I'm working at starbucks and there are not any bad customers compared to Korea.

Living abroad forever in 4 different countries 😂😭 you are likely to be enjoying if you like to do stuff alone. A leader is always lonely, u know.. 😢 Dont let friends come to you, but, go out and make friends. Have curious open mind set. Different perspective and culture will shock you, otherwise. Open up yourself for more opportunities. You may have 10% ideal experience, 90% salty, but, you are doing it for that 10% sweet. Enjoy every moment of your experience and if you are not, go find one 😁 If u r gonna be there for just one year, don't worry, it will be fun.
