Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Lenient (adj.)
Meaning: opposite of
strict, let off, light punishment Example (1): “When I was a handsome young boy my mum would always be strict with me, never lenient. That way I learned my lesson and didn’t repeat the same mistakes.”
Example (2): “My bestie’s boyfriend cheated on her last night and she only slapped him on the face twice. That’s friggin’ lenient! If a guy ever did that to me, I’d chop his balls off and feed them to my pet dog. No one is cheating on me, that’s for sure!”
