今朝、電話で2時間ぐらい母と世間話をしました。前回お母さんに会ってから、すでに1年が経ちました。今年、一回帰国しようと思

っていましたが、コロナの影響で飛行機がいつから飛べるかのは未だ不明であり、結局飛行機のチケットを買わないことにしました。日本に住むことがとても好きである一方、家族にいつでも会えるわけないというデメリットもあるし、寂しくなることは少なくありません。😭

This morning I spoke with my mother for about 2 hours on the phone. It has already been one year since the last time I have seen my mother (in person). This year I was planning to go back to America to visit my family, but due to the effects of the corona virus, it is still unknown when the airplanes will resume flying; therefore, I decided not to buy a plane ticket. I love living in Japan but with demerits such as not being able to meet my family whenever I would like, there are times when I am sad.
