実は今の若者が”マジで”を使うかどうかは私も分からないなぁ…東京に住んでいた時(約5年前)友達がよく使っていて、ちょっと癖になってしまったけど、もう時代遅れでしょうかね😂
I think you're right that ものすごく would suit my writing better. Actually, I also do not know if young people use まじで these days. When I studied and lived in Tokyo (about 5 years ago) my friends used it a lot, and it became a bit of a bad habit of mine. It's probably a bit "old-fashioned" now though, isn't it? haha
アメリカでもご飯をちゃんと作る人は減ってきていると思います。私の世代だと、冷凍食品と宅配がなかったとしたら本当に困る人が多いです。例えば、大学の知り合いの仲に、目玉焼きとかボックスパスタのような、とても簡単なものさえ作れない人も何人かいましたよ。ボックスパスタって料理でもないのに。
I think the number of people who cook proper meals has been declining in America as well. In my generation, there are a lot of people who would struggle without frozen foods or home delivery.
For example, I had several acquaintances in college who couldn't cook a fried egg or make pasta from a box, even though those aren't really cooking.
