Meaning: Doubtful, questionable
Example (1): “I think that a lot of the coronavirus statistics are dubious. Perhaps the formula they have for measuring cases is different but it’s certainly strange.”
Example (2): *Mum* “I plan to go for a walk today but I’m dubious because the sky is full of dark, grey rainclouds.”
