In the South (term for south east portion of USA Also known as

“below the mason dixie line”) we boil our crawfish in spicy seasonings along with garlic, potatoes, corn and lemons. A gathering with friends will be called a crawfish boil where we cook 14 kg or more of crawfish, lay it on a table and everyone gathers around and eats it together. One of my favorite traditions! We had a small one today with just me and my friend and it was very good! What is your favorite tradition?

    Crawfish is actually going viral all over China. People from Hunan especially enjoy that dish. It’s cooked with a lot of spices, so spiciness is to be expected.

    @Alice the South is very similar, we have events and traditions that are based around all kinds of foods. One of my favorites happens in New Orleans and is called Oyster festival 😍

    @Alice unfortunately it is canceled this year because of COVID but search New Orleans food festivals or best food festivals in the USA and you’ll find a ton!

    two years ago when I was in New Orleans, i got chance to have this dish. i like Chinese style more for stronger taste
