Travel. Culture. Languages.
All these words send passion through me. Learning other languages and cultures is the most eye opening experiences in my life yet.
Sometimes wanderlust consists of staying up for hours looking at travel pictures. Sometimes it means listening to music and falling into a different reality. Sometimes it gives you a natural high, and sometimes it gives you such a sense of longing that it hurts to contain it. Whatever it is, I appreciate it because without it I would not have had such a passion for learning languages, and I would be missing out on some amazing experiences and friends that I couldn't have made without it.

So yes, right now, I am up at 11:00. Dreaming of being on a plane again. It's like homesickness for a place you have never been. But through all of this, I have to remind myself: If you spend your whole life at the bottom of a staircase planning what you want at the top, you will never take the time to climb those stairs and actually build the reality you want. I have confidence in my future because I know my future is in God's hands. Wherever He plans for me, I will go. He has given me this passion for a reason, and I don't plan to waste it.
