Part 1: Some people want to know why don't I respond to private

messages. 有些人想知道 为什么我不回复私聊。

I have two reasons: 我有两个理由:

Except for other Americans or my Chinese friends in real life, if I have to spend 30 minutes to an hour helping one person, or spend the same 30 minutes to an hour helping many people, I'll always choose the latter.

除了其他的美国人或者我的现实生活中的中国朋友以外,如果我必须花30分钟到一小时帮助别人,我更愿意这30分钟到一小时同时帮助许多人而不是只帮助一个人,我总是这样选择的。

I just think it's better to correct a public post as opposed to respond to a private message, because, when I correct a public post, everyone can see the answer, but if I respond to a private message, only one person would see the answer.

我只是觉得纠正一个公开的帖子比回复一个私聊要好,因为,当我纠正一个公开的帖子时,每个人都能看到回复,但是如果我回复一个私聊,只有一个人会看到答案。

This kind of moral kidnapping is really not as good as robbers, and people have also invested time and labor to take risks, and the moral kidnappers have not invested at all in thinking that Bai Na is particularly superior as if he is teaching others to be human.

I understand why you don't want to be called your teacher. If people treat you as a teacher. Sounds more like a tool for learning English. But you're not. You are a real person. but from the perspective of most Chinese, we call those experienced people teachers. So this is the way we respect you. In my opinion, we are equal. Language is just a way to communicate with others. You are native English, so you master English. I am proficient in Chinese and we can learn from each other, which does not mean that one person is better than another.

@zhao In my culture, the rich and the poor man, the boss and the employee, the smart and the dumb are called by the name their mother gave them. Respect is not what the stranger thinks it is.
