I brought my camera this time

. It was a rare weekday outing for me yesterday, as I took a few days off from work. There was a storm that moved through and dumped fresh snow the day before. The sky cleared overnight and I enjoyed a day of bright sunshine and very warm temperatures. I dressed way too warmly and was sweating for much of the day. I even felt warm on the highest peak! It was very relaxing skiing, with few people around and the wet snow guaranteeing a slow descent. I took a long break sunning on the deck of a mountain shelter while having lunch.

I am not sure there will be more skiing this season for me. It will all depend on any new cold fronts coming in bringing snow and colder temperatures. Things are heating up here quickly right now... ☀️
