Some common English mistakes I see you guys make.
1. Articles
. - Using the right articles (a, an, and the)
- Missing articles when you need Articles.
- Using articles when you don’t need to use them
2. Using the right words in sentences.
Sometimes the words you use are too formal or not commonly used or just simply unnatural.
3. Missing the subject of the sentence when you need to. For example “Like food” is incorrect, and “I like food” is correct. This is commonly found with Japanese and Koreans as you don’t need to repeat the subject a lot in Japanese and Korean.
4. Having words that you don’t need in a sentence.
Sometimes there are words in a sentence that you do not need. You just need to learn from it.
5. Using full stops and commas when you don’t need to.
For a complete grammatical correct English sentence you only need a subject and a verb. For example “I read”. The image below shows when to use commas!
Hope this helps!
